What is CTPS?
The Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) is an opt out register for corporate subscribers who express their wish not to receive unsolicited sales and marketing calls to their numbers. It is a legal requirement that companies do not make calls to numbers registered on the CTPS unless they have the express opt-in permission to do so. The CTPS differs from the TPS for residential consumers in that you need to renew the registration with the site every year.
Who qualifies as a corporate subscriber?
Corporate subscribers, eligible to register on CTPS, include limited companies, limited liability partnerships, schools, government departments and agencies, hospitals and other public bodies.
