Data Cleaning for Recruiters

Validate every candidate number before your recruiter dials it

Candidate data goes off fast. People change networks, jobs and handsets - and recruiters end up burning hours on dead numbers and voicemail. Data Soap cleans your candidate database in minutes so the next call actually reaches a real person.

Built around the way recruitment desks work

  • HLR mobile validation against 220+ networks worldwide
  • TPS & CTPS screening for B2B headhunting calls
  • Email verification before you blast a job alert
  • Integrates with Bullhorn, Vincere, Mercury and any modern ATS via the REST API

The three numbers killing your recruiter productivity

~18% mobile decay per year

Candidates change handsets, networks, and SIMs constantly. A six-month-old shortlist is already 9% wrong.

£17.5m PECR fine cap

The B2B CTPS register isn't optional. Calling a CTPS-registered company exposes you to the new, far bigger fines.

GDPR consent decay

Old candidates and lapsed consent are a regulatory time-bomb. Article 5 demands you keep records current.

Data Soap services for recruiters

HLR Mobile Validation

Bulk-validate every mobile in your ATS in one upload. Returns live status - active, disconnected, roaming, ported - so recruiters dial real people, not dead lines.

TPS & CTPS Screening

B2B headhunting calls are caught by the CTPS register. Screen every number before the recruiter picks up the phone - or set it up via the API so it happens automatically.

Email Verification

Validate every candidate email before you send job alerts or InMails. Catch typos, dead inboxes and role accounts at the point of capture or in bulk.

API-first integration

Plug Data Soap into Bullhorn, Vincere, Mercury, JobAdder or your custom CRM via REST. Validate at the moment a candidate hits the ATS.

Recruitment-specific FAQs

Does GDPR Article 5 apply to my candidate database?

Yes - candidate records are personal data, so the accuracy principle applies in full. Inactive numbers and dead email addresses you keep on file are a documented breach if you don't take reasonable steps to update or remove them. See our plain-English guide to Article 5.

Do recruiters need to check TPS or CTPS?

CTPS, almost certainly - B2B headhunting calls into named decision-makers are caught by the Corporate Telephone Preference Service. Both registers carry the new £17.5m / 4% turnover penalty cap.

Will Data Soap integrate with my ATS?

Yes - if your ATS can call a REST API (Bullhorn, Vincere, Mercury, JobAdder, Recruitly, etc. all can), Data Soap plugs in. There's also a drag-and-drop portal for non-technical teams.

How often should I re-validate my candidate database?

Most recruitment desks see meaningful drift within 90 days. Monthly bulk-cleans are sensible for active desks; quarterly for slower-moving niches.
